These terms govern your use of Foundation. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If something here is unclear, reach out and we'll explain.

Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use Foundation. Keep your login credentials secure — you're responsible for activity on your account. You can close your account at any time from inside the app.

What Foundation is — and isn't

Foundation is a self-help tool that supports recovery through habit tracking, journaling, and AI-generated reflections. It is not a substitute for medical treatment, therapy, or emergency services. If you're in crisis, please contact a qualified professional or a crisis line in your country.

Subscriptions and payments

Core features are free. Premium features are offered through auto-renewing subscriptions billed by the App Store or Google Play. You can cancel anytime from your device's subscription settings. Refunds follow the policy of the store where you purchased.

Acceptable use

• Don't use Foundation to harass or harm others.
• Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the service.
• Don't share content that is illegal or that violates someone else's rights.

Your content

Anything you write or record inside Foundation belongs to you. You grant us a limited license to store and process it solely to provide the service — for example, to back up your journal or generate your personalized insights.

Disclaimers and liability

Foundation is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep it reliable, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Foundation evolves. If changes are material, we'll notify you in the app or by email before they take effect.
